On the 14th of September, 2018, the delegation from Taiwanese universities and enterprises paid a working visit to Dong Thap University (DThU). They are representatives from Kainan University, Yuanze University, Jin Xin H.R., and Binh Minh EHD., JSC.

Warmly welcoming the delegation was Mr. Vo Thanh Tung, Vice-rector of DThU and representatives from related departments and offices.

At the meeting, Mr. Lu Shih-Tong from Kainan University and Mr. Sun An-Cheng from Yuanze Univeristy respectively gave brief introductions of their universities. They suggested cooperating in education, especially in student exchange at undergraduate and graduate levels. Besides, Mr. Lien Geeng Jyh-Shin from Jin-Xin H.R., mentioned his company capacity in introducing students to part-time and full-time job opportunities during their study time in Taiwan after graduation. Mr. Lien added that he would collaborate with Kainan University and Yuanze University to ensure students’ study achievements while they do their part-time jobs.

On behalf of DThU, Vice-rector Vo Thanh Tung expressed his thank-you to the delegation’s suggestions and his hope that the Taiwanese universities, enterprises and DThU’s departments, functional offices would work together soundly to produce cooperative programs that both sides expected.

This visit of the delegation from Taiwanese universities and enterprises has opened new collaborative potentials in enhancing students’ foreign languages skills and job opportunities after graduation.
