On the morning of May 13, 2025, Dong Thap University welcomed the delegation from Luthai Group and Shandong University of Technology (China).
The delegation was led by Mr. Liu ZiBin, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman and General Director of Luthai Group; Mr. Hu XingYu, Secretary of the Party Committee of Shandong University of Technology; Mr. Wei FaHui, Chief of the Office of the Party Committee of Shandong University of Technology; Mr. Jiang ZhaoHui, Dean of the Luthai School of Textile and Apparel; Mr. Du QingYang, Dean of the School of Materials Science and Engineering; and Mr. Yang Zhen, Deputy Director of the Human Resources Department of Luthai Group.
Representing Dong Thap University at the reception were Mr. Truong Tan Dat, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the University Council; Mr. Ho Van Thong, Rector; Mr. Cao Dao Thep, Vice Rector; along with leaders of relevant departments.
During the working session, the parties discussed in detail a tripartite cooperation plan in training. Dong Thap University will be responsible for language training and class scheduling, while Shandong University of Technology will deliver specialized courses both in person and online.
Immediately after the working session, Dong Thap University and its partners held the opening ceremony for the “Marketing Course in the Textile and Garment Industry” for 2022 English language majors.
Students must meet admission requirements and express interest in interning or working at partner companies. The course provides essential marketing knowledge in the textile and garment industry, expanding career opportunities in a multicultural environment.
The training program meets the demand for human resources in Vietnam’s textile industry and promotes educational cooperation, supporting economic and trade exchanges between Vietnam and China. It is also a key step in Dong Thap University’s strategy to expand international collaboration, especially in supplying talent for foreign enterprises in Vietnam.
