On October 8, 2026, Dong Thap University held a Conference to Announce and Present Recruitment Decisions for Public Employees in 2026 at the House of Aspiration.
Attending the conference were Dr. Cao Dao Thep – Vice Rector; Dr. Nguyen Quoc Vu – Vice Rector; representatives of the University's Trade Union Executive Committee; leaders of affiliated units; and newly recruited public employees receiving their recruitment decisions.
At the conference, a representative of the Office of Personnel and Legal Affairs announced the recruitment decisions for public employees in 2026. In this recruitment round, the University recruited 11 public employees to work at various units, including the Faculty of Technology and Engineering, Faculty of Economics and Law, Faculty of Foreign Languages, and Faculty of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Environment.
As part of the conference, the University also announced and presented a decision on the reception and assignment of Senior Lieutenant Colonel Tran Duy E – Deputy Head of Political Affairs, Border Guard Command, Dong Thap Provincial Military Command, Military Region 9 – to Dong Thap University on secondment. Under the decision, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Tran Duy E was assigned to the School of Education under Dong Thap University to perform duties corresponding to a lecturer position. This appointment contributes to strengthening the University's personnel resources and meeting its education and training requirements.
Speaking at the conference, Dr. Cao Dao Thep – Vice Rector, extended his congratulations to the newly recruited public employees. He emphasized that each employee should uphold a strong sense of responsibility, continuously learn, embrace innovation and creativity, and demonstrate initiative in their work, thereby contributing to improving the quality of education and scientific research while working together to advance the development of Dong Thap University.
A representative of the newly recruited public employees shared their thoughts at the conference, expressing a strong sense of responsibility and determination to pursue continuous learning, professional development, and self-improvement, while striving to successfully fulfill their assigned duties.
