On the morning of January 29, at Lecture Theatre 1, Dong Thap University (DThU) organized an Academic Advisory Conference for the 2023–2024 academic year with the participation of representatives from the University's leadership, leaders of relevant offices and faculties, and lecturers in charge of academic advising activities.

The Academic Advisory Conference is a program designed to summarize and evaluate the results of academic advising activities under DThU's regulations. It aims to promptly capture information about the implementation process to support and resolve related issues, thereby improving the effectiveness of academic advising operations.

During the conference, academic advisors presented reports on the results of academic advising activities for 2022–2023 and discussed, and proposed solutions to improve the effectiveness of academic advising for 2023–2024. Additionally, they received training on some fundamental aspects of academic advising activities. On this occasion, those who had achieved outstanding accomplishments in the 2022–2023 academic year were also rewarded for their contributions in this field.

The conference aims to enhance the effectiveness of the university’s credit training system while simultaneously providing knowledge and information to academic advisors, enabling them to better perform their roles in advising students and supporting training activities within the institution.
