On September 26, at Dong Thap University, a conference was held to summarize the emulation and reward activities of Emulation Cluster No. 6, consisting of educational institutions under the Ministry of Education and Training.
Attending the event were Ms. Ngo Thi Thu Huong, Senior Officer from the Organization and Personnel Department of the Ministry of Education and Training, in charge of Emulation Cluster No. 6. Representatives from the universities in Emulation Cluster No. 6 were also present, including leaders from 09 higher education institutions directly under the Ministry of Education and Training: Dong Thap University, Nha Trang University, Hanoi University, Tay Bac University, Tay Nguyen University, Da Lat University, Kien Giang University, Quy Nhon University, and Vietnam-Germany University.
The Chair of the Cluster for the 2023-2024 academic year was Dr. Luong Thanh Tan, Vice Rector of Dong Thap University, while the Deputy Chair was Dr. Tran Doan Hung, Vice Rector of Nha Trang University. They co-chaired the conference.
The conference aimed to assess the emulation and reward work of the Cluster for the 2023-2024 academic year, propose tasks for the 2024-2025 academic year, and select units for awards such as the Emulation Flag and the Ministry’s Certificate of Merit. The event also included a session for sharing best practices and successful models among the participating universities.
During the conference, the following outcomes were agreed upon for the 2023-2024 academic year: three units were rated as "Completing tasks well," and six units were rated as "Completing tasks excellently." In terms of emulation titles and awards, nine units were recognized as Advanced Labor Collectives, and six units as Excellent Labor Collectives. Among them, Quy Nhon University was proposed for the Emulation Flag, while Hanoi University, Da Lat University, Nha Trang University, and Kien Giang University were recommended to receive the Ministry's Certificate of Merit.
For the 2023-2024 academic year, Dong Thap University served as the Cluster leader, and Nha Trang University as the Cluster deputy leader. For the 2024-2025 academic year, Nha Trang University will take over as the Cluster leader, with Tay Bac University as the deputy leader.
