On November 19, Dong Thap University held the Opening Ceremony of the 2025 Public Employee Recruitment Examination.
The recruitment of public employees is identified as a key task in the university’s personnel management. The quality of the workforce begins with the selection process; choosing candidates with the right competence and integrity contributes to improving the effectiveness of teaching, research, and administration.
Since August 2025, the university has implemented the full recruitment process in accordance with regulations: determining staffing needs, approving plans, receiving and reviewing applications. The recruitment has now entered the examination and assessment stage – the time for candidates to demonstrate their abilities, expertise, and suitability for each position. At the ceremony, Mr. Dang Truong Trung Tin – Head of the Personnel and Legal Affairs Office, concurrently Vice Chairman of the Recruitment Council – announced the Decision to establish the Recruitment Council, specialized examination and assessment committees, the supervisory board, and the secretariat. The announcement of the full organizational structure affirms thorough preparation, transparency, compliance with regulations, and strict supervision throughout the process.
In his speech, Dr. Truong Tan Dat – Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the University Council – declared the opening of the recruitment examination. He emphasized the importance of recruitment to the university’s overall performance, acknowledged the efforts of the candidates, and expressed his expectation that successful applicants will make positive contributions to enhancing the quality of training and research in the coming time.
The opening ceremony also served as an opportunity for the university to provide candidates with complete information on regulations, exam content, and schedules, enabling them to clearly understand requirements and actively prepare.
