On the 4th of September 2019, Dong Thap University welcomed 19 students from 7 different universities namely: PGRI of University Semarang, University of Sriwijaya, University of the Cordilleras, Tadulako University, Universitas Muhammadiyah Prof. Dr.Hamka, Halu Oleo University and Syiah Kuala University.
The welcome assembly was held to introduce the Sea-Teacher program’s participants together with the lecturers of Dong Thap University.

In order to facilitate their participation, Dong Thap University gives a free accommodation to the participants until the end of the internship. The university likewise provides pick-up service from Ho Chi Minh airport to the university. Dong Thap University assures the safety and convenience by providing a team of volunteer students to assist the Sea-Teacher participants.
