On October 28, 2026, the Le Vu Hung Learning Resource Center of Dong Thap University welcomed a delegation of Master's students in Library Science from Cohort 8 (2025–2027) of Ho Chi Minh City University of Culture (HCMUC) for a study visit and field survey of the Center's library operations.

The delegation was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen The Dung, former Rector of HCMUC, and included Master's students in Library Science from Cohort 8. Representing the Le Vu Hung Learning Resource Center of Dong Thap University, M.A. Nguyen Hoang Nam, Director of the Center, and other representatives welcomed the delegation and engaged in discussions with its members.

As part of the program, the delegation was provided with an overview of the Le Vu Hung Learning Resource Center and introduced to its facilities, learning and research spaces, information resources, professional activities, and library services. Through the study visit and field survey, the students had an opportunity to gain firsthand experience of library operations within a higher education institution, thereby developing a deeper understanding of library organization, management, and operations; information resource development and management; user services; and the application of information technology in library activities.

As part of the visit, representatives of the two institutions exchanged practical experiences in university library management and development; the organization, access, and utilization of information resources; and the improvement of information and library products and services. They also discussed the role of libraries in supporting education, scientific research, and students' independent learning. These exchanges helped Master's students in the delegation consolidate their specialized knowledge, connect theoretical learning with professional practice, and broaden their perspectives on emerging trends in library development and innovation amid the digital transformation of higher education.

The study visit and field survey provided an opportunity for Master's students in Library Science from HCMUC to explore the operational model of the Le Vu Hung Learning Resource Center while facilitating academic and professional exchanges between higher education institutions. The program also contributed to strengthening connections, sharing experiences, and promoting cooperation in the field of library and information science, with the aim of improving the quality of library operations and better meeting the growing needs of learning, teaching, and scientific research.
