On the 4th of March, 2017, the delegation from National Kaohsiung University of Applied Sciences (KUAS), Taiwan, led by Prof. Te-Hua Fang, Deputy director of KUAS’s Research and Development Office paid a working visit to Dong Thap University (DThU).

Warmly welcoming the delegation was Dr. Luong Thanh Tan, Vice-rector of DThU, together with representatives from departments.

At the meeting, Dr. Luong Thanh Tan introduced some general information of DThU to the delegates, expressing the hope that DThU and KUAS could join hands in many fields, especially lecturers’, postgraduates’ and students’ exchange, joint research. Prof. Te-Hua Fang also gave a brief introduction about KUAS and says that KUAS is willing to cooperate with DThU in the mentioned activities, and welcome DThU’s staffs to KUAS for Ph.D training.

At the end of the meeting, DThU and KUAS agree to sign a Memorandum of Understanding in the fields of education, scientific research to mark a new step forward of the mutual cooperation between the two universities.
