Dong Thap Provincial Youth Union inspects and supervises Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union’s work and Youth Movements for the first 6 months of 2026 at Dong Thap University

On the morning of July 14, 2026, at the Dong Tam meeting room of Dong Thap University, the University Youth Union welcomed and worked with the inspection and supervision delegation of Dong Thap Provincial Youth Union on the periodic review of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union’s work and Youth Movements for the first six months of 2026.

The inspection team was led by comrade Le Hoang Quyet, Secretary of Dong Thap Provincial Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (Dong Thap HCYU), along with members in charge of specialized areas. Representing the University were comrade Ho Sy Thang, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice Rector; Comrade Pham Van Hiep, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Head of the Party Committee’s Organization – Inspection Board; together with 24 members of the Executive Committee of the University’s HCYU and Executive Committee members of three affiliated units: the HCYUs of the School of Education, the Faculty of Foreign Languages, and the Faculty of Culture – Tourism and Social Work.

At the meeting, in a democratic, candid, and responsible spirit, the inspection team discussed and worked with the University’s HCYU on the results of HCYU work and youth movements in the first half of 2026.

The inspection focused on key areas: political, ideological, ethical, and lifestyle education for HCYU members; organizational development and strengthening of the University’s HCYU and the University’s Viet Nam Youth Federation (VYF) structures; and the implementation of programs and revolutionary movements aligned with the University’s political tasks. The delegation also acknowledged and clarified difficulties, obstacles, and recommendations arising from grassroots practice.

Concluding the meeting, comrade Le Hoang Quyet recognized and highly appreciated the positive results achieved by the University’s HCYU. He requested the units to continue implementing activities in accordance with the orientations of higher-level HCYU bodies; proactively innovate content and methods of operation suitable to practical conditions; address identified limitations; and effectively carry out HCYU tasks and youth movements in the last six months of 2026, contributing to building a stronger HCYU organization.
