On May 15, at Lecture Theatre 1 of Dong Thap University, the Faculty of Natural Science Education (FNSE), in collaboration with the Faculty of Mathematics–Informatics Education (FMIE), organized a thematic seminar on STEM education featuring a presentation by Prof. Dr. Asif Ud Doula from the Fulbright Specialist Program.
During the seminar, Prof. Dr. Asif Ud Doula shared extensive practical experience, engaged in professional discussions, and introduced emerging trends in STEM education. The session not only provided valuable knowledge but also created opportunities for faculty members and students to exchange academic insights and explore modern teaching approaches aligned with international integration. The event took place in an enthusiastic atmosphere and received strong interest and positive engagement from lecturers and students, contributing to educational innovation, strengthening international academic connections, and enhancing training quality of Dong Thap University in the current period.
Earlier, on May 13, Prof. Dr. Asif Ud Doula had a working session with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Dung – Dean of the School of Education – along with representatives of faculties, offices, and students of Dong Thap University. The parties discussed in detail the upcoming work plan and schedule to optimize the effectiveness of collaboration between the specialist and the University. Relevant units coordinated to prepare the necessary tasks to ensure alignment and consistency throughout the implementation of the Fulbright Specialist Program 2026 at Dong Thap University.
In the coming period, the program will continue to implement various hands-on activities, technology experiences, and STEM applications for lecturers and students. These activities will provide learners with more opportunities to access advanced educational methods, develop practical skills, foster creative thinking, strengthen research capacity, and enhance adaptability in modern learning and working environments.
