On the morning of April 21, 2026, the Foreign Languages and Informatics Center of Dong Thap University (DThU-FLIC) formally opened the VSTEP (Vietnamese Standardized Test of English Proficiency), taking place over two days, April 21 and 22, 2026. This is the April 2026 VSTEP Exam Session, implemented under the University’s 2026 plan for organizing English proficiency assessments aligned with 6-Level Foreign Language Proficiency Framework for Vietnam.
The exam attracted 386 registered candidates, aiming to certify their English proficiency for purposes such as graduate admission, civil service recruitment, university entrance, and graduation requirements. Notably, this session includes 04 candidates in the U50 age group, 05 high school students, and 01 secondary school student. Many candidates shared that they chose to take the exam at Dong Thap University because of the friendliness and professionalism of the exam administration.
With thorough preparation, strict and safe exam procedures, and dedicated support from faculty members and student volunteers, candidates entered the exam with confidence and comfort, enabling them to perform well and achieve their expected results.
According to the plan, the DThU-FLIC continues to accept applications for the May 2026 VSTEP Examination until May 15, 2026.
