On the afternoon of April 7, Dong Thap University welcomed the delegation from the Research Institute for Technology and Business (RITAB) and Kangwon National University as part of their working visit to Dong Thap Province. The activity aimed to promote exchange, strengthen the friendship between Dong Thap Province (Vietnam) and Gangwon Province (Korea), and lay the foundation for comprehensive cooperation between the two localities in the future.
Attending the program were Mr. Tran Duc Dung – President of RITAB; Mr. Choi Yong Gyun – President of Kangwon National University; and members of the delegation. Representing Dong Thap University were Mr. Ho Van Thong – Rector; Mr. Cao Dao Thep – Vice Rector; along with representatives of relevant units.
During the working session, the parties discussed, exchanged, and agreed on several cooperation contents, leading to the signing of cooperation documents. Accordingly, Dong Thap University and RITAB signed a cooperation agreement to promote activities in training and scientific research. The cooperation focuses on strengthening career orientation, professional development, research implementation, innovation activities, enterprise connection, and organizing conferences and thematic seminars.
Alongside the agreement with RITAB, Dong Thap University and Kangwon National University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) aimed at collaboration in international student recruitment, joint training programs, credit transfer pathways, scholarship support for disadvantaged students, and enhanced information exchange and communication cooperation in the field of education.
The signing of these two cooperation documents is expected to open new development opportunities, contribute to improving the quality of training and scientific research, and promote the international integration of Dong Thap University in the coming period.
