On April 4, Dong Thap University solemnly held the second Master’s Degree Graduation Ceremony of 2026 for 108 graduate students who successfully completed their academic programs.
The ceremony was attended by representatives of the leadership and executive boards of higher education and college institutions; the Rectoral Board of Dong Thap University; representatives of partner units; managerial staff; lecturers from faculties, departments, and functional units; and the 108 new master’s graduates honored in this ceremony.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Nguyen Quoc Vu – Vice President of Dong Thap University – congratulated the new master’s graduates on completing their studies. With its mission of training high-quality human resources, Dong Thap University consistently emphasizes the integration of education, research, and community service. The University is committed to accompanying learners throughout their long-term academic and professional development, and welcomes graduates to continue their studies at higher levels to better serve their professional work and contribute to local development.
The University also announced that in April 2026 it will host the “Job Fair and Employer Networking Day 2026” on April 18, and the “STEM Education Day – Innovation for the Community” on April 19. These meaningful activities aim to connect knowledge with real-world practice, expand career opportunities, and promote a spirit of creativity and innovation.
On this occasion, University leaders expressed deep gratitude to the lecturers who have dedicated themselves to teaching and guiding students, as well as to families, agencies, and colleagues who have supported the learners throughout their studies. The University congratulated the new master’s graduates of Cohorts 11, 12, and 13, and encouraged them to continue demonstrating intellect, resilience, and innovation in contributing to national development.
With more than 50 years of experience in training teachers and educational managers, and over 20 years of development as a multi-disciplinary university, Dong Thap University is currently one of the nation’s key institutions for teacher education. The University has a faculty of 536 members, including 1 professor, 22 associate professors, 216 doctors, and 320 masters.
At present, the University offers 3 doctoral programs: Educational Management; Mathematics Teaching Theory & Methodology; and Theoretical Chemistry & Physical Chemistry. It also offers 18 master’s programs/specializations; 60 undergraduate programs; 31 in-service programs; and 12 distance learning programs.
Dong Thap University’s postgraduate training scale includes 66 doctoral candidates and more than 1,900 master’s students. Postgraduate education is increasingly linked with scientific research, contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality and the region.
