Dong Thap University Holds the First Graduation Ceremony of 2026

On March 27, Dong Thap University solemnly held the First Graduation Ceremony of 2026 for both Full-time and Distance Learning programs.

Attending the ceremony were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ho Sy Thang – Vice President of Dong Thap University; Prof. Huynh Vinh Phuc – Vice President of the School of Education, Dong Thap University; along with leaders of departments, faculties, centers, lecturers, staff members, and the new bachelors and engineers.

Upholding its mission of training high-quality human resources across multiple fields, Dong Thap University identifies educational science and the training of managerial staff and teachers as core tasks, contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality and the Mekong Delta region. Over the past 20 years, the University has affirmed its position as a reputable institution for training and scientific research in the region and nationwide, while building a dynamic and modern learning environment that enables students to develop comprehensively and gain practical experience.

Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ho Sy Thang congratulated the new bachelors and engineers on completing their academic programs at Dong Thap University. He emphasized that the University consistently invests in and enhances training quality to meet the increasing demands of society.

With more than 50 years of experience in training teachers and educational managers, and 23 years in undergraduate and postgraduate education, Dong Thap University is currently one of 14 key higher education institutions specializing in teacher training. The University is offering 60 undergraduate programs, including more than 20 teacher-training majors, as well as 18 master's programs and 3 doctoral programs, creating opportunities for learners to continue advancing their qualifications.

During their studies, students participated in academic activities, scientific research, internships, and extracurricular programs, helping them develop professional knowledge, career skills, and work ethics. The distance learning format also provides flexibility for learners who are working and seeking to improve their qualifications.

Vice President Ho Sy Thang emphasized that the graduation diploma marks an important milestone in each learner’s academic journey and personal growth. The University hopes that the new bachelors and engineers will continue to apply the knowledge and skills they have acquired to adapt to the workplace and contribute positively to the community and society.

The University also expressed its hope that graduates will continue their learning through postgraduate programs, second-degree programs, or professional development courses. Dong Thap University remains committed to accompanying learners on their career development journey and in achieving new goals.

On this occasion, the University leadership extended gratitude to the lecturers and staff who have dedicated themselves to teaching and supporting students throughout their studies, and sincerely acknowledged the support of parents who have encouraged their children to complete their academic programs.
