On November 12th, 2012, the delegation of Donkoi Child Development Center, led by Ms. Xuyen Thi Dangers, Director of Donkoi Child Development Center of Laos, paid a visit to Dong Thap University (DThU) to address the students on the topic of Social Work activities in the small group. Xuyen Dangers is a social worker in Laos/Vietnam. She serves as a social work supervisor of Donkoi child center and five other ones, Social Work advisor, Faculty of Social Sciences, and the National University of Laos.
At the Guest Hall of DThU Rectorate Board, Dr. Nguyen Van Ban, Vice Rector of DThU, along with representative leaders of Department of International Cooperation, the reprentatives of Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Department of Students Affair warmly received the delegation of Donkoi Child Development Center of Laos.
At the meeting, leader representatives of DThU kindly introduced, sharing information of the overview of DThU activities on training, especially on training social work. Ms. Xuyen Thi Dangers kindly shared some information of the overview of Donkoi Child Development Center and her experiences in serving as a social work supervisor. Besides, she also expressed her willingness to support DThU in seeking the volunteerer coming to DThU to work for long-term periods.
After the meeting, Ms. Xuyen Thi Dangers addressed the students on the topic of Social Work’s activities in the small group.
