On January 12, Dong Thap University welcomed and worked with the delegation of lecturers and students from Dongguk University (Korea) to implement the program led by Prof. Sung Cheol Lee, Director of the Institute for Global Border Studies, accompanied by Prof. Sun Hyung Park, Prof. Wonyoung Lee, and Prof. Jae Seob Ahn, together with 17 Geography Education students.
Representing Dong Thap University were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Dung – Dean of the School of Education – together with representatives of various faculties and departments of the university.
The program is part of the MOU between the two universities, aiming to create opportunities for lecturers and students of Geography Education to engage in academic exchange, learn from practical community service projects, and enhance their capacity for international integration.
During the meeting, representatives of Dong Thap University and Dongguk University shared videos introducing the history, scale of training, and facilities of both institutions, and exchanged commemorative gifts.
At the end of the program, the two universities held a professional discussion between representatives of Dong Thap University’s faculties and the Dongguk University lecturers, followed by a group photo session.
