Scientific Events on Internationally Oriented Program Development at Dong Thap University

GD&TĐ – On November 14, Dong Thap University hosted a series of three scientific events, attracting the participation of many leading scientists and experts, including:

• The scientific seminar “Educational Research in the Current Context”;

• The stakeholder consultation workshop on the “Proposed Doctoral Program in Education Studies”;

• The national scientific conference “Developing Undergraduate Programs Oriented Toward International Standards and Digital Transformation.”

The events drew the participation of numerous distinguished scientists and experts from universities and the Council of Professors in Educational Science.

Delegates listened to in-depth presentations focusing on core issues such as: the current situation and new requirements for educational research, providing an overview of opportunities and challenges in the renewal period; key orientations and solutions to advance educational science in Vietnam in the new context, meeting the demands of quality improvement and international integration; and training and research in educational science, offering strategic vision and laying the foundation for building a high-quality research workforce. Valuable insights were shared by representatives of the Council of Professors in Educational Science, leaders of universities of education, and experts, helping to clarify many pressing issues.

The series of seminars and conferences carried special significance, reflecting the university’s determination and commitment in the new phase, aiming toward integration, standardization, and enhancement of training and research quality.

Speaking at the seminars and conferences, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ho Sy Thang, Vice Rector of Dong Thap University, emphasized the importance of scientific activities in the university’s development strategy.

Dong Thap University is ready to invest in depth, setting quality and international standards as the guiding principles for all innovation activities,” Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ho Sy Thang affirmed.

Through this series of events, the university seeks to create a broad academic forum for exchange, share experiences, and disseminate valuable research outcomes. This was also an opportunity for lecturers, scientific supervisors, and doctoral candidates to access new knowledge and update educational development trends, thereby enhancing professional quality, research methodologies, and scientific publication capacity.
