Meeting and Dialogue with Dormitory Students for the 2025–2026 Academic Year

On October 17, Dong Thap University organized a meeting and dialogue between the University’s leadership and representatives of dormitory students for the 2025–2026 academic year. This event served as an opportunity for the University to listen, share, and accompany students in their academic and residential life at the dormitory.

Attending the program were Senior Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Quoc Hai – Deputy Chief of Cao Lanh Ward Police; Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Anh Phuong – Local Police Officer; and Captain Le Hoang Khang – Officer of the Cao Lanh Firefighting and Rescue Team. Representing Dong Thap University were leaders of the Service Center, along with heads and deputy heads of departments and faculties, representatives of the Youth Union – Student Association, and a large number of dormitory students.

During the meeting, officers from the Cao Lanh Firefighting and Rescue Team delivered a session on fire prevention, firefighting, and rescue operations, providing practical knowledge to help students proactively prevent incidents and respond safely when emergencies occur. In addition, the program included discussions on cybersecurity and high-tech fraud schemes, helping students identify risks, stay vigilant, and protect themselves in the digital environment.

On this occasion, Dong Thap University commended 16 individuals from the Student Self-Management Team and dormitory floor leaders for their outstanding performance in the 2024–2025 academic year. At the same time, the Service Center, in coordination with relevant units, strengthened the Student Self-Management Team and recognized new floor leaders and assistants at Dormitory B6 and the Student Housing Complex in Ward 6, promoting responsibility and cohesion in student management and support.

The meeting took place in a friendly and open atmosphere, providing useful information and demonstrating Dong Thap University’s commitment to supporting students and fostering a civilized, safe, and compassionate educational environment.
