DThU- On September 10, Dong Thap University welcomed and held a working session with the Dong Thap Provincial Football Federation to discuss the development of football among university students.
Attending the meeting was Mr. Ngo Be, President of the Dong Thap Football Federation, along with other federation members. Representing Dong Thap University was Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ho Van Thong, DThU Rector, along with leaders from various faculties, departments, and relevant units. The event also welcomed journalist Quang Tuyen from Thanh Nien Newspaper.
The working session focused on sharing strategic directions and plans to create favorable conditions for students to participate in sports activities, especially in football. Discussions centered on building a future cooperation program, including organizing annual tournaments, conducting skill training sessions, providing professional support, and creating competitive and interactive environments for students.
As part of the shared vision, Dong Thap University and the Dong Thap Provincial Football Federation aim to sign a cooperation agreement that offers students more opportunities to participate in official tournaments, enhance their skills, improve physical fitness, and connect with football teams both within and outside the province.
