DONG THAP UNIVERSITY WELCOMES THE DELEGATION FROM HANBAT NATIONAL UNIVERSITY (SOUTH KOREA)

On the morning of July 2, 2025, Dong Thap University hosted a meeting with the delegation from Hanbat National University (South Korea). The delegation was led by Mr. Lim Joon Mook, Vice President for Academia – Industry Cooperation and Professor in the Department of Creative Convergence, and Mr. Kwon Ki Seok, Vice President for International Collaboration and Professor in the Department of Public Policy, along with other members. Representing Dong Thap University were Mr. Ho Van Thong, Rector; Mr. Cao Dao Thep, Vice Rector; along with heads of related departments.

During the session, the two universities signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and discussed various potential areas of cooperation, including faculty and student exchanges, academic resource sharing, organization of cultural exchange programs, and joint development and implementation of academic programs — particularly at the postgraduate level.

As part of the discussions, Dong Thap University proposed academic collaboration in launching new majors, including Korean Language and English–Korean bilingual programs.

This working session marked an important milestone in the university’s internationalization efforts, paving the way for further academic exchange, research collaboration, and cultural engagement opportunities for both universities.
