RECEPTION AND WORKING SESSION WITH THE JAMWEI INSTITUTE DELEGATION (JAPAN)

On May 16, Dong Thap University welcomed and held a working session with a delegation from the JAMWEI Institute (Japan) to sign cooperation agreements aimed at promoting training and research activities in the fields of health, languages, and international academic exchange.

From the JAMWEI Institute, the delegation included:

  • Mr. Yoshino Masayoshi – President of the JAMWEI Institute

  • Mr. Fujimoto Masanori – Supervisor of the JAMWEI Institute

  • Mr. Nguyen Cong Cuu – Independent Advisor to the JAMWEI Institute

  • Mr. Seto Ryoma – Assistant to the President, Tokyo Health Care University

  • Mr. Murasugi Masahide – Representative of Yuyukai Medical Group

  • Ms. Higuchi Yuko – Representative of Tokyo Medical University Hospital

  • Mr. Minami Hiroya – CEO of Terakoya Training Co., Ltd.

  • Ms. Le Hong Nga – Executive Director of Terakoya Training Center

Representing Dong Thap University were:

  • Mr. Ho Van Thong – Rector

  • Mr. Cao Dao Thep – Vice Rector

  • Mr. Ho Sy Thang – Vice Rector

  • Along with leaders of various departments and faculties of the university

During the event, Dong Thap University signed a bilateral cooperation agreement with Tokyo Health Care University and a tripartite agreement with the JAMWEI Institute and Terakoya Co., Ltd. The collaboration focuses on faculty support, the development of new training programs, and the organization of international academic activities.

As per the agreements, Tokyo Health Care University will send doctoral-level lecturers to support the development of health-related training programs at Dong Thap University. The JAMWEI Institute will introduce specialists in Japanese Studies to contribute to the development of new majors such as Chinese–Japanese Language and English–Japanese Language.

In addition to program and faculty development, the parties agreed to implement exchange programs for lecturers, students, and researchers to enhance training quality and promote cultural exchange between Vietnam and Japan. Short-term, bachelor's, master's, and doctoral training programs will be tailored to ensure practicality and effectiveness.
