On April 23, Dong Thap University held a working session with the FOB Aesthetic Vocational Training Center, signing a Memorandum of Understanding for cooperation in education, research, and technology transfer in skincare.
The event was attended by experts, scientists, and leaders from both institutions. From FOB Aesthetic Vocational Training Center, notable figures included Assoc. Prof. Dr. Huynh Van Ba, Head of the Dermatology Department at Can Thơ University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Senior Advisor at FOB, and Vice President of the Vietnam Dermatology Association; Dr. Nguyen Văn Nguyen, Director of FOB; Master Huynh Thi Nga, Director of FOB Skincare Institute; Dr. Nguyen Cong Cuu, Level II Specialist Doctor, President of the Dong Thap Public Health Association. Representing local authorities, Dr. Doan Tan Buu, Level II Medical Specialist, Director of the Dong Thap Department of Health, was also present.
From Dong Thap University, attendees included Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ho Van Thong, Rector; Master Lecturer Cao Dao Thep, Vice-Rector; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ho Sy Thang, Vice-Rector; along with leaders from various functional units.
The agreement builds upon a previous working session on April 15 between the two institutions. The partnership will focus on developing a training program combining theory and practice, transfering new skincare technologies, and establishing a Skincare Research Institute at Dong Thap University.
This collaboration aims to enhance education quality, provide students with practical experience, and expand career opportunities. It aligns with the local healthcare workforce development strategy and leverages Dong Thap University's expertise in medicinal plant research, information technology, and wellness tourism to strengthen the link between training and application.
