DONG THAP UNIVERSITY WELCOMES AND WORKS WITH THE JAPAN ASIA MEDICAL WELFARE EDUCATION INSTITUTE (JAMWEI)

On March 13, Dong Thap University welcomed and held a working session with a delegation from the Japan Asia Medical Welfare Education Institute (JAMWEI), led by Mr. Yoshino Masayoshi, Chairman of JAMWEI, along with other members of the delegation.

Representing Dong Thap University were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ho Van Thong, Rector of the University; Senior Lecturer Cao Dao Thep, Vice Rector; and leaders of various faculties and departments.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed and reached consensus on implementing key cooperation programs in the fields of education and training. JAMWEI expressed interest in supporting human resource development in the Health Sciences sector at Dong Thap University and in promoting joint training programs in the Chinese-Japanese and English-Japanese disciplines.

A notable highlight of the meeting was the discussion on establishing connections with Okayama University (Japan) to expand cooperation in the field of agriculture, creating opportunities for students to access advanced production technologies and models.

Additionally, JAMWEI introduced a project involving mold design software provided by FA-SYSTEM Corporation, which will support technical training for students. Other discussed cooperation areas included internship programs for students in agriculture, food technology, and engineering; development projects in Automation and Robotics; as well as opportunities for vocational training in Japan in fields such as Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology, Agriculture, and Nursing.
