Meeting with the delegation of Meanchey National University and the Department of Education, Youth and Sports of Banteay Meanchey province, Cambodia

On November 19, Dong Thap University met with the delegation of Meanchey National University and the Department of Education, Youth and Sports of Banteay Meanchey province, Cambodia. Attending the delegation were Mr. Chia Soeun, rector of Meanchey National University, Mr. Chanh SoPheap, deputy director of the Department of Education, Youth and Sports of Banteay Meanchey province. The delegation was also accompanied by heads of faculties and departments of Meanchey National University.
Dr. Ho Van Thong - rector of the university, Mr. Cao Dao Thep - vice rector of the university, along with representatives of related departments and faculties met with the Cambodian delegation.
At the meeting, representatives of the two universities introduced, shared information, and proposed specific cooperation activities in the future. Specifically, they include promoting sustainable cooperation with proposals such as: sending agricultural specialists (food processing, agronomy, animal husbandry, etc.) from Dong Thap University to Meanchey National University for a short-term programs; organizing student exchange programs, cultural exchanges and community services; participating in research projects and publishing research works; exchanging data and scientific research programs, etc.
In addition, Dong Thap University also invited the delegation to attend the opening ceremony of the 2024 - 2025 academic year on November 20, 2024.
At the end of the meeting, the two universities planned some cooperation contents on training and scientific research. Specialized units from the two sides will continue to coordinate to implement specific cooperation contents in the future.
