This event is part of a series of activities supporting students for the 2024-2025 academic year, organized by the University's Student Affairs and Communication Office.
Attendees included Lieutenant Colonel Vo Truong Giang, Head of the Police Department of Ward 6, Cao Lanh City, Dong Thap, along with Mr. Pham Van Hiep, Head of the Student Affairs and Communication Office, Mr. Le Anh Tuan, an officer from the Academic Affairs Department, and a large number of enthusiastic students.
During the seminar, Lieutenant Colonel Vo Truong Giang presented on the various sophisticated scams and fraud techniques increasingly common on social media. He also shared essential skills to help students identify high-tech crimes, enabling them to protect themselves from online fraud, identity theft, and other cybercrimes aimed at stealing personal information or assets.
The second part of the program was led by Mr. Le Anh Tuan, who guided the 2024 student cohort on the procedures for registering for credit courses, how to manage excess credits, and effective study planning. The event attracted active participation from students, providing them with practical knowledge on both safeguarding themselves online and managing their university studies more efficiently.
This seminar was an opportunity for students to raise their awareness about cybersecurity. Mr. Pham Van Hiep emphasized: "In the digital age, cybersecurity knowledge is not just a necessary skill but an essential factor in protecting oneself, especially for students."
The seminar concluded with valuable lessons and impactful information, leaving a lasting impression on the students who attended. This experience will undoubtedly serve as a valuable tool to support them in both their academic journey and in navigating the digital world. The lively interaction between students and speakers made the seminar more engaging and practical than ever.
