DONG THAP UNIVERSITY YOUTH UNION VISITS AND GIVES GIFTS TO 2024 GREEN SUMMER VOLUNTEER TEAMS

On June 24, the Dong Thap University Youth Union, along with leaders from the faculties in the university, in cooperation with Cao Lanh City Youth Union, organized a visit and gift-giving event for volunteer teams participating in the 2024 Green Summer activities in Cao Lanh City, Dong Thap Province. The program aims to encourage and support student volunteers in carrying out meaningful activities in the local community.
In this year's Green Summer campaign, volunteer teams from various faculties of Dong Thap University have been engaging in numerous meaningful activities at different locations throughout Cao Lanh City.
Faculty of Culture, Tourism, and Social Work: Participating from June 20 to June 30, 2024, in Tan Thuan Dong Commune, Cao Lanh City, Dong Thap Province with a team of 14 volunteers. Additionally, another team of 16 volunteers is participating from June 20 to June 30, 2024, in Tinh Thoi Commune, Cao Lanh City, Dong Thap Province.
Faculty of Primary and Preschool Education: Participating from June 24 to July 14, 2024, at Tinh Thoi Primary School, Cao Lanh City, Dong Thap. The team is actively involved in teaching and supporting the education of local students.
Faculty of Social Science Teacher Education: Participating from June 15 to June 25, 2024, in My Phu Ward, Cao Lanh City, Dong Thap Province with a team of 26 volunteers. The team is implementing various youth projects, contributing to the improvement of infrastructure and the environment for the local community.
The visit and gift-giving event by the Dong Thap University Youth Union and Cao Lanh City Youth Union not only serve as a morale booster but also provide motivation for the volunteer teams to continue their dedication and successfully complete their tasks in this year's Green Summer campaign. Furthermore, the Dong Thap University Youth Union will work closely with local agencies to resolve any emerging challenges, creating favorable conditions for the volunteer teams to fulfill their duties. This effort contributes to building a positive image of Dong Thap University students in the hearts of the local people.
