On May 17th, at Hall H1, Dong Thap University's Labor Union organized the Concert and Award Ceremony for the 2024 Labor Union Karaoke Singing Competition.
The 2024 Labor Union Karaoke Singing Competition attracted 19 teams with 50 performances from various Labor Union Units participating in categories such as Solo (Modern and Traditional music), Duet, Trio, Group, or Ensemble. The theme of the competition focused on praising Homeland, Country, Party, Uncle Ho; celebrating the Vietnam Labor Union, school, Teachers and Education sector; and promoting love, friendship, and comradeship.
Prior to this, the 2024 Labor Union Karaoke Singing Competition took place over two nights, from May 15th to 16th, 2024. With 19 participating teams, the Organizing Committee selected outstanding performances to compete in the concert night.
The 2024 Labor Union Karaoke Singing Competition was a cultural and artistic event aimed at fostering unity and understanding among members within the same unit and among units throughout the University, especially after the basic restructuring of the units. The competition was expected to create a joyful atmosphere while contributing to enhancing labor productivity, encouraging learning, research, and playing a significant role in the overall development of the University. Additionally, Labor Union members had the opportunity to practice teamwork skills and demonstrate solidarity, creating many beautiful memories.
