DIALOGUE CONFERENCE OF DONG THAP UNIVERSITY LABOR UNION EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE WITH ITS MEMBERS AND EMPLOYEES

On May 17, the Dong Thap University Labor Union Executive Committee held a meeting with its members and employees. Chaired by the Labor Union President, the event included participation from the university's Executive Party Committee, leadership representatives of the Rectoral Board, leadership representatives of various units, members of the university's Executive Party Committee, members of the Labor Union Department Executive Committee, heads of Labor Union Groups, and university employees.
The conference focused on training and enhancing human resource quality; solving difficulties and obstacles in living and working conditions; stabilizing income and living standards; implementing policies for staff, employees, and employers; handling professional and job-related administrative formalities for the university’s staff and employees; implementing social and health insurance policies for employees; ensuring safety and security; and founding Labor Union Organizations under the university’s Labor Union.
During the conference, attendees discussed and provided feedback on the draft of Internal Spending Regulations of the Union and other related comments and suggestions. On this occasion, an award ceremony was held to recognize union members who had excelled in the "Good People - Good Deeds" movement. In celebration of Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health in 2024, the Labor Union at Dong Thap University also presented gifts and extended their gratitude to employees for their active contributions to the university’s activities.
The conference was a resounding success, ensuring a democratic, transparent, objective, and effective process that aligned with the legitimate needs of staff and employees. Delegates participated in the conference with a constructive and responsible spirit, focusing on pressing issues requiring attention. Questions, suggestions, and proposals were addressed directly and efficiently.
The regular organization of such dialogue conferences aims to understand the aspirations and address the concerns of union members and employees promptly. This approach helps resolve difficulties and challenges related to policies, ensuring the legitimate rights and interests of staff and employees. It also highlights the attention and care of the university's leadership and unit heads towards their staff and employees.
