On the morning of April 9, Dong Thap University, in collaboration with the Ninh Thuan Department of Education and Training (DOET), held a closing ceremony and certificate awarding event for the training course on teaching Informatics and Technology. The event was attended by primary school teachers working at educational institutions under the Ninh Thuan DOET.
Attending the ceremony from the Ninh Thuan DOET were Mr. Nguyen Hue Khai, Director of the Department, along with leaders from Continuing Education Centers and district-level DOET offices across the province. From Dong Thap University, the event was attended by Dr. Nguyen Quoc Vu, Vice Rector of the University; Mr. Tran Ngoc Thuan, Deputy Director of the Center for Training and Professional Development (LKDT-BDN), and more than 160 primary school teachers from educational institutions under the Ninh Thuan DOET.
Dong Thap University, in collaboration with the Ninh Thuan DOET, provided training for 164 primary school teachers in Ninh Thuan. The training, conducted from December 1, 2023, to February 4, 2024, combined direct and online sessions, allowing teachers to continue their teaching duties while completing the course.
The training course followed a hybrid format of online and direct sessions, adhering to the content requirements set by the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET). The program covered various topics that linked theory with practice. Lecturers integrated theoretical knowledge with practical applications, ensuring a blend of knowledge, experience, and practical skills. Emphasis was placed on active teaching methods aimed at resolving issues in teaching Informatics and Technology, enabling participants to become self-directed learners after completing the course.
Participant Bui Thi Thanh Như shared, "Throughout the course, we were enthusiastically taught by our instructors who imparted valuable knowledge and provided concrete, practical examples related to each lesson. Besides gaining new insights from the course material, we also received heartfelt advice and practical teaching experiences from our instructors, all dedicated to the cause of education."
