Recently, a delegation from Dong Thap University, along with representatives from the leadership of the Dong Thap Department of Education and Training and lecturers overseeing the internships, visited groups of third-year teacher students doing basic internships at educational institutions in Dong Thap province.

Interns share their advantages and disadvantages of the internship 

As stipulated, during the basic internship, interns are required to familiarize themselves with the educational situation of the internship school, acquaint themselves with policies and measures regarding the renovation of teaching methods, and learn from the teaching experiences of mentors. Additionally, they are expected to stay updated on the local context where the internship school is situated, as well as the activities of organizations and associations supporting educational activities. Upon completing the internship, they are further required to follow up by editing and enhancing the content of their reports based on what they have learned about educational realities at the internship school.

During the visits, the delegation learned about the actual situation of basic interns at the internship schools, closely monitoring and promptly updating both advantages and disadvantages. This allowed for timely direction, adjustment, or support to motivate and assist students in becoming acquainted with the real environment and fulfilling the duties of the internship program as prescribed.
