MORE THAN 4,600 PEDAGOGY STUDENTS AT DONG THAP UNIVERSITY RECEIVE LIVING COST SUPPORT

GD&TD - As of January 24, 4,668 pedagogical students at Dong Thap University have received living expenses support.
Dong Thap University leaders meet and listen to students' wishes to receive support according to Decree 116.
These are students of the 2021, 2022, 2023 admission courses in pedagogical majors who have registered to benefit from the policy of supporting tuition and living expenses according to Decree No. 116/2020 of the Government.
According to Decree No. 116/2020 of the Government (Decree 116) regulating the policy of supporting tuition payments and living expenses for pedagogical students, the state supports tuition payments for pedagogical students, equals the tuition fee of the training institution where they study and is supported by the state with 3.63 million VND/month to cover living expenses while studying at school.
Leaders of the Provincial Department of Education and Training share with pedagogical students who have permanent residence in the province and receive support.
Currently, based on Decree 116 and other guiding documents related to implementing the method of assigning tasks and the number of students who will be the subject of this Decree. Dong Thap University provides information on the list of students in pedagogical majors with household registration in localities who are studying at the school.
This is an opportunity for students of pedagogical majors to enjoy practical benefits and receive significant support for learning and professional training during their studies at the university level. Dong Thap University continues to support and create favorable conditions for pedagogical students in the process of learning and career development associated with supportive and preferential policies for students.
According to the school representative, students studying at the university for pedagogical majors will be guided through the procedures to enjoy the tuition and living expense support policy of Decree 116 (living expense support is 3 .63 million VND/month).
