On the morning of December 17th, the Continuing Education Center of the province collaborated with Dong Thap University to organize a comprehensive review and awarding of diplomas to newly graduated bachelors who completed the university-level program—a unique blend of work and study. This joint educational initiative has been a result of the partnership between the two institutions. Concurrently, both entities inaugurated classes for the university-level program, following the work-study model, for the academic year 2023-2024.
Commendation of three new graduates with outstanding academic achievements
Dong Thap University conferred university diplomas in the work-study program to 120 fresh graduates from the Elementary Education and Preschool Education classes of the 2020-2021 academic year. The University's Board of Directors also released the list of 100 qualified new students enrolled in the university-level programs for the majors of Elementary Education, Preschool Education, and English Teacher Education. All these new graduates and students are education professionals working in educational institutions within the province, aligning with the educational standards set by the 2019 Education Law. Students pursuing a university-level degree through the transitional program from intermediate level to bachelor's degree have a training duration of 3 years, while those transitioning from college to university have a training period of 2 years.
During the ceremony, the University's Board of Directors also presented awards to three outstanding graduates and one new student with the highest entrance exam score.
