On 16/12, an Opening Ceremony was solemnly held to welcome 284 MA students who were matriculated in University’s second admission to take part in 12th training course for MA programs of Education Management, Primary Education, Theory and Teaching Methods in Mathematics, Theoretical Chemistry and Physical Chemistry,   Vietnamese Language, Vietnamese History, Economic Management, Theoretical Physics and Mathematical Physics, Computer Science and also 14 PhD students of Education Management whose registrations were accepted in 2023.

Present at the Ceremony were Truong Tan Dat, PhD – Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the University Council; Ho Van Thong, PhD - University’s Rector; Luong Thanh Tan, PhD – University’s Vice Rector as the University’s leaders; Ho Sy Thang,  Asso. Prof. - Head of Graduate Studies Office; and Heads of departments, faculties, heads of training programs, representatives of training affiliates and partners of the University, especially the new students, along with relatives, family and friends.

In his cordial address to the students, Ho Van Thong - Rector of Dong Thap University said, “I strongly believe that by your own abilities and experiences plus the dedicated guidance by  teams of scientists, the support and help by your families and schools,…you will surely achieve excellent studying and researching results. After the training course, you will be able to appky the knowledge, skills and experiences acquired in the learning and researching process into the work reality at your agencies, schools, cities and provinces as effective contributions.”

Up to now, Dong Thap University has opened 12 master's training courses for 2,483 students belonging to 12 permitted master's training programs and 05 doctoral training courses for 37 PhD students. At the present,  the University enrolls students for PhD degree in Educational Management and students for 12 Master's degrees, six of which are newly-permitted programs including Theory and Teaching methods in English, Environmental Science, Economic Management, Theoretical Physics and Mathematical Physics; Computer Science; Teaching Theory and Methodology.
