On the morning of December 2, Dong Thap University held the opening ceremony of university-level training classes in the form of in-service training for teachers in Vinh Long province with 101 students.
Attending the ceremony, on behalf of Dong Thap University, there were Mr. Luong Thanh Tan, Vice Rector of the University; Ms. Tran Thuy Nhu Phuong, Deputy Director of the Center for Joint Training and Vocational Training; together with representatives of leaders of relevant faculties and professional units. On the side of Vinh Long Department of Education and Training, there were Ms. Truong Thanh Nhuan, Director of the Department; Mr. Lam Dang Hong Son, Head of Personnel Department, along with representatives of related functional departments and Mr. Tran Minh To - Principal of Vinh Long College.

During the event, Ms. Tran Thuy Nhu Phuong approved the decision to recognize candidates who are admitted to the joint and second university training classes, in the form of in-service training in 2023. Students are introduced to the training program, complete training plan, teaching plan, the way of organizing classes and the admission application process for each major after the Opening Ceremony.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Luong Thanh Tan, Vice Rector of Dong Thap University, sent congratulations to 101 students who were accepted into the in-service training course. The university always prepares the best conditions for programs, documents, and learning materials; facilities and equipment; teaching staff to conduct training and to raise the standard qualifications of teachers, aiming to improve their expertise and professionalism.
Currently, Dong Thap University continues to enroll students in in-service training with 31 university-level majors, 2 majors meeting the 2018 GDPT program. Classes can be flexibly scheduled according to the situation in practice and in localities where there is a need.
