CELEBRATING 41TH ANNIVERSARY OF VIETNAMESE TEACHERS’ DAY AT DONG THAP UNIVERSITY

In a grand ceremony held at Hall H1, Dong Thap University celebrated the 41st anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 – November 20, 2023). The event, following the tradition of "Respecting Teachers, Valuing Morality – Drinking water, remembering its source," honored the dedicated educators who have contributed to the overall development of education and specifically to the institution.

Among the distinguished guests attending the event were Mr. Truong Tan Dat, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the University Council; Mr. Ho Van Thong, Rector of the University; Mr. Cao Dao Thep, Vice Rector; Mr. Nguyen Van De, Former Rector of the University; Mr. Pham Minh Gian, Former Vice Rector; Mr. Nguyen Van Ban, Former Vice Rector, along with the University's leadership and Council. Esteemed educators, both current and past, international faculty and students, and multiple generations participated in the event.

Addressing the gathering, Rector Ho Van Thong emphasized the continuous development of Dong Thap University, a result of a long journey and immense efforts by the esteemed faculty throughout various stages of growth. The occasion served as a tribute to the dedication of teachers, staff, and students who, together, have cultivated an academic environment full of creativity and growth. In the contemporary societal development landscape, I believe in the determination and relentless efforts of the entire Dong Thap University community to adapt to the 4.0 development environment, elevating the institution nationally and internationally.

Simultaneously, in celebration of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, Dong Thap University proudly received the commemorative medal "For the Contribution to Education" for 15 educators who have made significant contributions and achieved high accomplishments in the field of education. Recognitions were also awarded to groups and individuals who excelled in national and regional competitions. These honors not only bring pride to the individuals but also reflect the remarkable achievements of Dong Thap University in its integration and development journey.
