DTO - On the evening of October 25, Dong Thap University (DThU) organized a Gala Program to welcome new students 2023 with the theme " Steady steps into the future". Dr. Truong Tan Dat - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the University Council; Mr. Cao Dao Thep - Vice Rector of the university; Representatives of leaders of faculties and departments and new students attended.

Speaking at the program, Mr. Cao Dao Thep - Vice Rector of DThU welcomed the 2023 new students to officially become students of DThU. At the same time, he emphasized that entering a new environment, new students will begin a new journey of youth with many challenges, opportunities and memorable experiences. With the educational philosophy of "constructivist - professional - integrated", DThU always creates an open learning environment, promoting creative thinking and dynamic integration so that students can express their full potential. at the most optimal level, contributing to the development of society.

At the program, in a joyful and exciting atmosphere, the new students enjoyed many unique musical performances. On this occasion, DThU awarded scholarships to 187 students who overcame difficulties to study well in the full-time system on the occasion of the opening ceremony of the 2023 - 2024 school year. Each scholarship is worth 1 million VND, from the Study Encourgement Fund of the University's Study Encourgement Association.
