MEETINGS WERE HELD TO DISSEMINATE AND GIVE IMPLEMENTATION GUIDANCE TO SUPPORT POLICY FOLLOWING DECREE 116/2020/ND-CP

On October 14 and 15 evenings, Dong Thap University organized meetings for all students belonging to the 2023 enrollment season to timely disseminate and give implementation guidance to the sectoral policy on providing tuition fees and living expenses for students of teacher education, all clarified in Decree 116/2020/ND-CP.

The meetings focused on giving answers to students' questions regarding details in Decree 116/2020/ND-CP, specifically on how to apply for the support package and get enough benefits from it. The functional departments also helped clearly explain the procedure and required papers so that students could be able to receive the support at sufficient disbursement.

During the meeting time, Mr. Pham Van Hiep, MA who represented Dong Thap University, gave students detailed guidance on how to apply for the supports in accordance  with the Decree 116/2020/ND-CP, as well as provided information about the specific procedure and conditions to enjoy the support policy. Notably, in the meetings students had the opportunity to contribute their opinions and suggestions on how to improve and optimize the policies, thereby contributing to making further proposals to improve the policy suitable to the reality and current students’ needs.

The feedback from the attending students showed how they were excited and concerned about the Decree 116/2020/ND-CP, and they expressed the strong hope that the policy would bring them many practical benefits and significantly support their learning and professional training during their university studies.
Dong Thap University commits to further give support and create favorable conditions for students of teacher education in their learning activities and career development. The meetings marked an important step in ensuring that information related to Decree 116/2020/ND-CP was fully and transparently communicated to all University’s students of teacher education.
