During the meeting, representatives from both institutions engaged in discussions about nurturing skilled professionals in the field of Information Technology. Mr. Huang Chun Ming - the Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology at National Chin-Yi University of Technology (Taiwan), provided insights into the faculty's mission and training approach. The main focus is on imparting fundamental skills to students and establishing partnerships with businesses to offer internships spanning various sectors such as machinery, technology, and mechanics, etc.
In line with this, the 2+2 training program is envisioned to encompass approximately 134 credits. Out of these, the initial two years will involve 70 obligatory credits pursued at Dong Thap University, while the subsequent phase will encompass 64 elective credits undertaken at National Chin-Yi University of Technology (Taiwan). Throughout the span of two years spent studying in Taiwan, students will be afforded the chance to engage in business internships, thereby accruing invaluable hands-on experience in real-world settings.

The student internship process will be thoughtfully crafted to prioritize both safety and efficacy throughout the learning and practical experiences. Notably, students engaged in the internship will receive a competitive stipend, fostering motivation and enthusiasm for their participation in the program. Adding to the appeal of this 2+2 training program is the financial backing from the Taiwanese government. According to the agreement, the government will lower tuition fees for students during their initial year of study at National Chin-Yi University of Technology (Taiwan), thereby alleviating the financial burden on students and easing the cost of education.
During the meeting, the two parties also deliberated on enhancing Chinese language assistance for students engaged in the 2+2 joint training program. This initiative aims to facilitate a more effective and confident absorption of knowledge for students during their studies in Taiwan.
