On 05/8, VNU Center for Education Accreditation – Vietnam National University - Hanoi University (hereafter referred as the Center) held the XXIII meeting session for its Education Accreditation Council to appraise the results of education quality assessment towards the training programs to which external assessment process had already been completed.
Among the educational institutions whose training programs were assessed this period by the Council is Dong Thap University with its 7 training programs that successfully passed the external assessment visit in June 2023.
Present at the meeting session were the Board of Directors of the Center, representatives of external assessment groups and representatives of higher education institutions whose training programs would be able to receive the appraisal after being pended.

At this XXIII session, the Council carried out appraising procedure to verify and approve the results of education quality assessment for 7 Dong Thap University’s seven regular university training programs (01 college program). After listening to the final reports on the external assessment results by the Accrediting groups, to those of assessment results by Professional subcommittee, the Council had a questioning and exchanging session with Heads of the University and heads of Accrediting groups to clarify more contents related to the process of implementing education quality assessment, more issues regarding the University’s training activities. The Council’s conclusions showed that the University’s seven training programs were all approved for its training quality at the rate of 100% agreement by the members of Education Accreditation Council.

In its later steps, the Center will proceed with the required documentation and approval formality to recognize the title of education quality for the registered institutions and training programs in accordance with current regulations. It is expected that thanks to the Council’s approval, 6 university-level training programs of Dong Thap University including Informatics Teacher Education, Biology Teacher Education, Music Teacher Education, Fine Arts Teacher Education, Accounting, Agronomy and 01 college-level training program of Pre-school Education are going to receive the Certificates for Education Quality Accreditation on its opening ceremony of 2023-2024 academic year.
