On June 12, Dong Thap University held the Opening Ceremony of training courses for primary school teachers who teach Informatics and Technology, secondary school teachers who teach Natural Science, History and Geography subjects to meet the curriculum requirements of K12 education system 2018 in Dong Thap.

Attending the program, on the side of Dong Thap Department of Education and Training, there were Mr. Nguyen Qui Hop, Head of Personnel and Organization Department, and representatives of Education and Training Departments of districts and cities in Dong Thap province. On the side of Dong Thap University, there were: Dr. Luong Thanh Tan, Vice Rector of the University; Dr. Nguyen Hoang Anh, Director of the Center for Joint Training - Vocational Retraining; Dr. Nguyen Thuan Quy, Deputy Director, lecturers attended the training along with more than 100 students who are teachers, representing more than 600 teachers who are working in schools in the province.

The opening ceremony will organize for more than 600 teachers of Informatics and Technology at primary level; secondary school teachers, including: 01 Informatics and Technology class, 11 Natural Science classes, 3 History classes - Geography. This is an opportunity for learners to increase their knowledge, practice and improve their self-study and self-research capabilities, to adapt to all teaching conditions, and to meet the innovation requirements of general education.
