On the morning of May 13, Dong Thap University in collaboration with the Department of Science and Technology held a conference to evaluate the results of the one-year cooperation in science and technology activities between the two organizations, period 2022 - 2025.

At the conference, the parties highly appreciated the achieved results. After 1 year of implementing the joint operation plan, the University and the Department of Science and Technology has promoted the research and application of science and technology tasks; coordinate in disseminating policies to support scientific research; consulting and transferring science and technology. From May 2022 to May 2023, there were 15 turns of scientists from the University to participate in Provincial Science and Technology Advisory Councils in the fields of: fisheries, biotechnology, information technology, education, social science... contributes to improving the quality of task identification, application review and evaluation, acceptance of results of implementation of science and technology tasks.

At the end of the working session, representatives of the Rectorial Board, lecturers and the Board of Directors of the Department of Science and Technology discussed and agreed on a number of tasks in the coming time. In the year 2023, the two organizations will coordinate to complete the appraisal and deploy 5 scientific and technological research projects in the fields of fisheries, cultivation and environmental protection... The Department of Science and Technology continues to give priority to inviting scientists of the University to participate in the Advisory Councils of Science and Technology to perform consulting tasks on the province's science and technology tasks. Dong Thap university strengthens research proposals in fields of high applicability, in line with the province's development orientation. For the university's scientific, technological and technical research products that have been recognized by competent authorities, the Department of Science and Technology will connect, introduce and transfer to organizations in need, meeting the requirements of pushing application of science and technology in units and localities, contributing to the general development of the province.
