BPO - Under the authorization of Binh Phuoc People's Committee leaders, on the morning of May 12, Mr. Ly Thanh Tam, Provincial Commissioner, Director of the Department of Education and Training, had a meeting with the delegation of Dong Thap University on the demand for cooperation in training and fostering human resources in various fields.

Dong Thap University is a public school established in 2003, that offers multi-disciplinary training in all fields of study. In the development process, with 16 training programs, the institution has won many achievements and has been awarded noble titles by the government, ministries, branches, and localities. The university has also cooperated with Binh Phuoc College to consult, enroll, and train 121 postgraduates in educational sciences and teacher training since 2020.

In 2023, the university will offer 4 more postgraduate training programs to meet the needs of studying, improving the professional qualifications of staff, teachers, and trainees to contribute to the country’s overall development. Thus, Dong Thap University proposes to the Binh Phuoc Provincial People's Committee to consider and select the university as a partner to train human resources for the province in the coming time, especially, to provide teacher training courses responding to the implementation of the General Education Program 2018.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Ly Thanh Tam said, “In recent years, Binh Phuoc province has given great priority and facilitated the implementation of policies on training and developing high-quality human resources in sectors and fields. In the field of postgraduate training, the Department of Education and Training highly appreciated the quality of the training courses for Binh Phuoc teachers provided by Dong Thap University over the past years.”
Mr. Ly Thanh Tam acknowledged the proposal and hoped that Dong Thap University would continue to strengthen information exchange with cooperating units in order to quickly resolve obstacles and promptly solve problems so that the Provincial People's Committee would sooner have a policy on implementing the cooperation of human resource training between the province and the university.
