On April 12-13, representatives of the Faculty of Mathematics and IT Teacher Education visited the Faculty of Science and Technology at Thammasat University (Rangsit Campus, 99/2 moo18 KlongNueng, KlongLuang, PhatumThani, 12120, Thailand), at the invitation of Thammasat University and with the approval of Dong Thap University, Vietnam.
On this visit, the two parties signed an MOU. This MOU’s provisions center on the implementation of things like: student, scholar, researcher, and official exchanges between the two faculties; coordination of activities like joint research, lectures, and symposia; exchange of data, documents, and research papers in fields of mutual interest; and execution of other projects that will be advantageous to both parties.
The profound cooperation between the two faculties is inherited from the active and effective cooperation between the Department of Mathematics Pedagogy, Faculty of Mathematics and IT Teacher Education, Dong Thap University and the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, Faculty of Science and Technology, Thammasat University, Thailand.
Representatives from the two faculties have also committed to putting into action their active and effective cooperation and to jointly enhance collaboration between the two universities in both training and research.
During the trip, representatives from Dong Thap University also attended the international conference "Some open problems in mathematical analysis" and presented a plenary report. The conference was chaired by the Faculty of Science and Technology, Thammasat University, Thailand.
