On April 3, Dong Thap University welcomed Bestway (Vietnam) Recreation Ltd. Delegation led by Mr. Liu Xiao Ming, Human Resources Director, with his officials, including Ms. Phan Thi Huynh Nhu and Ms. Tang Tu Ngoc (Human Resources Officers).

Mr. Cao Dao Thep, Vice-Rector of Dong Thap University, representatives from the International Affairs Office, the Academic Affairs Office, and Chinese language lecturers attended the meeting.

The two parties exchanged a lot of information in order to enhance their collaboration. Mr. Cao Dao Thep proposed that the two parties sign a Memorandum of Understanding in the near future and jointly organize short-term training courses related to working processes and production processes, helping students adapt to the working environment at the Enterprise soon. Mr. Liu Xiao Ming agreed with Dong Thap University's proposals and shared information on accepting interns in 2023 with a number of 30 to 50 students. He added, “After students complete the internship, the enterprise will evaluate and retain about 10–15 students to work officially. The number of trainees accepted and retained for the following years may vary depending on the development scale of the company.

On this occasion, the company’s representatives also met with students majoring in the Chinese language to introduce the company and employment opportunities for those students. They also responded to inquiries about job positions and internship opportunities at the company.

Maintaining regular contact with foreign-invested businesses helps the school and business establish a long-lasting and sustainable working relationship and confirms the businesses' involvement in the university's process of developing highly-qualified human resources.
