Participating in the event were Mr. Ho Van Thong, Rector of the University, and Ms. Nguyen Anh Thu, Head of the International Affairs Office. At the summit, Dong Thap University signed an agreement to implement the 9th SEA-Teacher Student Exchange with the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO). The university also signed Memorandums of Understanding and Frameworks of Cooperation with universities from the Philippines, Indonesia, and Thailand to implement the internship program for students majoring in education and economics.
Dong Thap University signs Letter of Agreement with SEAMEO
The program will give Dong Thap University students the opportunities to practice teaching their majors in South East Asian countries such as the Philippines, Indonesia, and Thailand; improving foreign language skills, and contributing to the effective implementation of Vietnam’s National Foreign Language Project at the university. Also, Dong Thap University will receive students from the Philippines, Indonesia, and Thailand for internships.
Expectedly, the program will offer new cooperation opportunities for the universities to exchange lecturers and students, and conduct scientific research.
