On the afternoon of March 23, Dong Thap Provincial Youth Union held a meeting to celebrate Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union’s 92nd anniversary (March 26, 1931—March 26, 2023) and to commemorate its foundation, history and development over the past 92 years.

Attending the program were Mr. Phan Van Thang - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Huynh Minh Thuc - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union; Mr. Le Phuoc Vinh - Secretary of the Youth Union of Dong Thap University, along with a number of outstanding officials of the Union.

At the meeting, the participants listened to the representatives’ shares about unforgettable memories, remarkable milestones in their implementation of Youth Union’s activities, especially valuable lessons experienced during their terms as heads of Youth Union organizations; at the same time the representatives highlighted significant values brought about by the Youth Union to the roads to maturity of Youth Union members and the young people in general.

On this occasion, the Provincial Standing Committee presented 2023 Tran Thi Thu (Kim Hong) awards to 26 collectives and 32 individuals. This is the highest award of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Dong Thap province, awarded to outstanding collectives and individuals who have made great contributions to the development of Dong Thap province's Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Organizations.
The Award was also presented to two individuals and one collective belonging to Dong Thap University, namely Mr. Huynh Thanh Thuong (a member of the Standing Committee of Dong Thap University’s Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, an officer of the Party Affairs Department - Union); Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Tien (the Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the Social Sciences Teacher Education’s Faculty and a student of ĐHGDCT19A class); and Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Social Sciences Teacher Education’s Faculty.
