On 8/3, Dong Thap University signed MOUs for cooperation with agencies and businesses in the fields of training and internship to give students favorable conditions for accessing businesses and internship units to improve practical knowledge and soft skills during the training process.

Participating in the signing ceremony were representatives of 10 agencies and businesses, including the Center for Hi-Tech Agricultural Application, MungLien Seafood Co., Ltd., ARES Environmental Solutions Joint Stock Company, Thinh A ASIFAC Company, Bio Aqua Import Export Trading Production Co., Ltd., TamLong Seafood Co., Ltd., ALLIANCE AQUA Research and Development Joint Stock Company, Croaking Frog Farm Co., Ltd., Dinh An Agricultural Seed Cooperative, and Long Thuan Safe Vegetable Production Cooperative. Participants on the side of Dong Thap University were Dr. Nguyen Quoc Vu, Vice-Rector of the University; Dr. Pham Quoc Nguyen, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture and Environmental Resources; deans, vice deans, and students of relevant faculties; and representatives of professional offices and divisions.

This model of cooperation will help Dong Thap University to improve practicality and enhance practice in its training activities thanks to opportunities to access the modern equipment and machinery systems of businesses through field trips for lecturers and students. And in return, it will help recruiters select qualified human resources to develop talents based on students' capacities with low training costs. From the perspective of learners, students will have a clear career orientation, and thereby they will try their best to promote intellect and passion for learning. Besides, students will be funded as part of their training fees, be given favorable conditions to access the real working environment of the businesses, and have opportunities to get suitable job offers right after graduation.

At the end of the discussions, Dong Thap University, agencies, and businesses came up with agreements and signed MOUs for cooperation, laying the foundation for long-term and sustainable cooperation between the parties in the coming time.
