On February 24, the delegation of Dong Thap University had a meeting with the Department of Internal Affairs of Dong Thap about cooperation and training of human resources.

At the meeting, Mr. Phan Huu Phuoc, Director of Department of Internal Affairs, informed that training needs for civil servants and public employees are very necessary, especially training programs associated with job position, helping civil servants have enough expertise and skills to handle work effectively. Therefore, the association with training institutions is a regular and indispensable job in the training and development of human resources of the province.

The Department of Internal Affairs proposed Dong Thap University to promote introduction of training programs for the Department of Internal Affairs to advise the Provincial People's Committee to choose a suitable and feasible plan.

Dr. Ho Van Thong, Rector of Dong Thap University acknowledged and thanked the suggestions from the Department of Internal Affairs, and agreed to support in order to meet the training demands and allow students to enhance their practice. The university will create favorable conditions for civil servants to participate in training courses and successfully complete the course to improve their capacity in handling work and increase work efficiency.
