On March 30, the delegation headed by Mr. Murooka Naomichi - Deputy Representative of Japan International Cooperation Agency Vietnam Office (JICA) and Mr. Vu Ngoc Huyen - Vice President of Vietnam National University of Agriculture (VNUA) paid a visit to Dong Thap University (DThU).
Welcoming the delegates of JICA and VNUA, there was Mr. Pham Minh Gian, Mr. Cao Dao Thep - Vice Rectors of Dong Thap University and other representatives from DThU’s faculty and offices..The meeting aimed to create opportunities for training collaboration in the field of agriculture, thereby implementing the Non-project “Agricultural human resources development advisor for Vietnam National University of Agriculture”, sponsored by JICA, Japanese Government. The Non-project implementation will contribute to the development of Dong Thap agriculture in particular, Vietnam in general and building a Vietnam - Japan human resources bank.

At the meeting, leaders of Dong Thap University presented the university’s strengths of training, scientific research and international cooperation.

Mr. Murooka Naomichi - Deputy Representative of JICA informed that JICA would like to choose Dong Thap as the first province in the South to to link training, build appropriate educational programs, connect careers for employees with Japanese enterprises and organizations.
